As a proud supporter of the arts in our community, it is our great pleasure to help sponsor the Salem Art Association (SAA)'s 19th Annual Clay Ball: Silver Screen here at The Salem Convention Center Saturday, February 24, 2018. The auction and dinner is the second-largest fundraiser of the year for the Salem Art Association, behind only the Salem Art Fair & Festival held every summer. The organization has hosted this dazzling social event featuring art, wine, food, music and dancing with us every year since we opened our doors in 2005. “The staff at SCC are really great to work with and we know that we can always count on high-quality food for our guests,' says SAA Events Manager, Stephanie Patterson. 'The event staff is always willing to go out of their way to make it an extra special evening for our guests.”- The Clay Ball is known for it's fun, eclectic themes and creative costumes worn by guests. 'This is our favorite event of the year,' says patron Brent Pence in this Statesman Journal article from 2017. 'Costumes are more fun that regular dressing up.' Previous themes have included 'Masquerade', 'Get Up & Gatsby' and 'Over the Top' where guests were encouraged to top off their glamorous get-ups with a chapeau. Just last year, Clay Ball guests donned costumes depicting their favorite work of art to celebrate the evening's theme,“Masterpieces”. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on 100+ auction items, drink wine, enjoy a gourmet dinner and dessert then dance the night away after the live auction. Tickets to the 19TH Annual Clay Ball: Silver Screen are now on sale and can be purchased by going to www.salemart.org. Hope we see you here in your best Old Hollywood attire February 24th, 2018!
