We are thrilled to be the host venue for the Northwest Comic Fest, coming to Salem, Oregon for the first time August 15th & 16th, 2015! This epic event is bringing the best of Superheroes, Comic Books, Movies, Music, Action, Sci-fi, Pop-Culture, and Horror to the heart of downtown Salem. People from all walks of life are invited to come here to celebrate their favorite genres while enjoying gaming competitions, exciting exhibitors, costume and cosplay contests, interactive panels, workshops a film festival and more! 'Northwest Comic Fest is a celebration of Comics, Sci-fi, Anime, Horror, Steampunk, Podcasts, Basically anything and everything that we can fit under an umbrella of Pop-culture/Geek-culture mixed with music, cinema, and Action!'says festival organizer Casey Ocupe in a recent interview. In the same interview, Casey says he has wanted to do a comic con for several years in Salem because of it's close proximity to Eugene and Portland. His goal is to surpass expectations for all those involved in the inaugural event. An impressive guest line up is growing with special guests like New York Times Bestselling and Eisner-nominated science fiction writer Chris Roberson, Eisner-nominated comic book painter and New York Times Bestselling Author Brett Weldele, and prolific animation and comic book artist, Keith Tucker, and artist Aaron Meyers of Comics Therapy.
