For most non-profits, successful fundraising is absolutely critical for the organization to sustain it's most basic services and functions. Without it, essential programs that help to serve the community would not be operational. We have had the privilege of hosting numerous fundraisers throughout the years for non-profits that are making a big difference in our community. One such organization, The Salem Art Association (SAA), has trusted the Salem Convention Center with one of their largest fundraisers of the year, the Annual Clay Ball. This wildly popular event draws a large crowd every year with their fun, over the top themes and festivities. This year's theme, Pop of Color! was no exception. Guests later gathered in the Willamette Ballroom for a three-course dinner, followed by an exciting live auction featuring original art and exciting experience packages. Once the bidding was over, the lights went down, the music went up, and event-goers filled the dance floor for a fun filled night. The sale of tickets and auction purchases from the Clay Ball helps the Salem Art Association (SAA) provide arts opportunities to everyone from underserved students to established artists, and it was a privilege to host this outstanding organization again this year.
