Family Building Blocks, a local child abuse prevention program, will host their 11th Annual Dream Builders Luncheon here at The Salem Convention Center on Thursday October 20, 2011 from 12-1pm. This event is an integral part of sustaining FBB's work with high-risk children and families. Family Building Blocks works to keep children safe and families together by providing early intervention programs and support services. Their goal is to build successful and resilient children, strengthen parents, and preserve families. The luncheon is a 60-minute presentation describing the work of Family Building Blocks and the extraordinary return on investment of helping children get off to a positive start in life. Guests leave the luncheon educated and motivated to make a difference. There is no cost to attend but reservations are required.
