The Salem Convention Center welcomes the Oregon EMS Conference, beginning Thursday September 22nd and extending through Sunday September 25th with a special post-conference class. The Oregon EMS Conference is an activity of the Oregon Research & Education Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. The conference provides a venue for the annual awards presentation by EMS and Trauma Systems, and the Oregon Health Authority. Paramedics from around the state can still register for this event, which will be featuring guest speakers David Givot, Bob Page, and Ed Racht. These speakers as well as our other are leaders in their field and are bringing wonderful educational content to this year's conference. The conference also features an abundance of informative sessions and networking opportunities. If you are not a paramedic but would like to take a peek at some of the preconference material, you are welcome to attend the Trauma Jeopardy lecture on Thursday evening from 6:30-9:30pm. This event is free and open to the public. The lecture will be presented by Dr. Andy Michaels, a trauma surgeon at Emanual Hospital who will be sharing personal experiences and challenging the attendees breadth of knowledge. Download the Conference Brochure for more information and details about each event. If you would like to register for the event, visit www.oregonemsconference.com.
