More Ways to Park—Including EV and Overflow Options In addition to free parking in our underground garage, guests driving electric vehicles will find EV charging stations conveniently located within the garage. These stations are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are a great option for those needing a quick top-off while they dine, meet, or stay with us. During large-scale events or busy weekends, our garage can occasionally fill up. In those cases, our overflow parking is available on the top floor of the Pringle Parkade, located just across the street. In the extremely rare case that the parking at Pringle is also full, our guests are also able to utilize the Chemeketa Parkade for Overflow Parking, just 3 blocks down and about a 7-10 minute walk away. Paid Street Parking in Salem: What to Expect Under the City of Salem's new parking plan, most street parking downtown is now $1.50 per hour and require payment Monday through Saturday. You'll notice new pay stations along the sidewalks and signage outlining the rules for each zone. Payment can be made by coin or card at the kiosk, or by using the City's new Beep Beep Salem mobile app. Parking time limits vary by zone, but most on-street spaces now allow a maximum of 12 hours of parking per day. A Few Free Parking Options for Downtown Visitors Outside of our property, visitors to downtown Salem still have a few free parking options to consider. The first three hours in city-owned public parking garages are free, making them a useful choice for casual visits, errands, or weekday lunch outings. Select storefronts throughout the district also offer 30-minute quick stop zones, which are ideal for takeout, retail pickups, or curbside needs. And don't forget—on-street parking remains free every Sunday and on recognized city holidays, so weekend brunches and shopping days are still a breeze. Planning Ahead Makes It Easy We understand that changes to parking can feel overwhelming, especially when you're navigating a new location or attending an event. That's why we encourage all of our guests—whether you're here for a business meeting, a wedding reception, or a relaxing weekend getaway—to take advantage of our easy, on-site parking and to reach out with any questions before your arrival. Our team is always happy to help make your visit as smooth as possible. For a complete breakdown of where to park when visiting our block, check out our parking guide on our website: Parking Guide
