Deen Castronovo, drummer for the band Journey performed at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Salem annual fundraiser luncheon here at the Salem Convention Center. This is not Deen's first involvement with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Salem. Last May he donated an autographed drum set to the Knudson Branch. The kids and staff insisted he perform before leaving, so he did. 'Journey loves doing these kinds of things,' Castronovo said. 'We're a very giving band. Castronovo, who lives in Keizer when he's not on tour, is giving more than just a set of drums to our local Boys & Girls Club.
