We provide all inclusive service so your big day is focused on you enjoying what's sure to be one of the happiest days of your life. You can walk down the aisle with ease here and we'll walk you through what you can expect when you have your wedding with us. You're Engaged! Congratulations-someone special popped the question and now you're engaged! That's a big deal. We know it's exciting when that initial engagement occurs and it's natural to ride that wave for a while. However, you've now got to jump into wedding planning mode. Whether you're planning your wedding yourself or you've hired a wedding planner to assist you in this venture, it's time to start planning. One of the first things you'll want to establish in your wedding planning endeavor, is your venue and how much space you'll need. If you've decided to book your wedding with us, we'll help you determine which room is best for the amount of guests you plan on having. We have various meeting room sizes that are perfect for twenty guests or five-hundred! Choosing a Venue and Room When choosing a venue, you can start the process as soon as you get engaged. Typically, it's a good idea to book your wedding venue early; at least a year out. If you're working on a tighter timeline and need something within a year, we can assist with that too! It's also an option to add an additional bridal room to any wedding package you choose with us. We can help get you set up in a space that's perfect for you and your bridal party to get glammed up and ready to walk down the aisle. What Our Wedding Packages Include Now that you know your wedding date, your preferred venue and room, and you're honing in on your hired wedding help-it's time to iron out the finer details of this grand event. We offer various wedding packages that you can view here. We ask that you determine your package when you book your wedding date with us so that we know exactly what to prepare for your big day! This is what some of those packages include: Reception Ballroom-This is great if you plan on having a separation of space or decor between the ceremony and reception. Especially when hosting large weddings, it can be helpful to have the additional ballroom space. Round or Rectangular Banquet Tables-These include all necessary table settings which we can match closely to your wedding colors. We can also work closely with our designer partners to add additional decor, if you would like. This includes runners, overlays, specialty centerpieces & florals, etc. Cocktail and/or Bistro Tables-These are great if you plan on having a cocktail hour on the schedule for your wedding day. We provide all the tables, chairs and take care of set up and tear down. Catered Dinner-Let us take care of the meals at your wedding. We have menus available here or we can work with you on creating a custom menu of your own. It's your wedding after all, eat what you want! Bartender-Don't forget the drinks! We can provide a full service bar with a bartender so you and your guests are never thirsty. We customize drinks as well and can create fun, specialty cocktails to match the theme of your event. Event Enhancements-This includes microphones, lights, staging for the head table, ceremony and cake display. We also provide draping, twinkle lights and an optional photobooth. Accommodations-We're conveniently adjoined to the Grand Hotel where a honeymoon suite is available. There's plenty of complimentary parking as well. Wedding Recommendations The next step in planning a wedding is establishing who your photographer, dj/band, and videographer will be. You may also want to consider bringing on a hair stylist or make up artist to assist you in getting ready on the day of your wedding. We can offer our recommendations for these services to enhance your wedding day. Just reach out to us and ask! We have a preferred vendor list as well, but you are more than welcome to use the vendor that fits your vision best. Set Up and Tear Down As part of the all inclusive service we offer at the Salem Convention Center, we'll set and tear down any additions and enhancements that you contract through us for your big day. This includes setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, and dining arrangements. We want your wedding day to be easy for you. Instead of rushing around to make sure everything is perfect on your big day, let us handle it, so you can let yourself live in the moment. Moments, especially wedded ones, are special here.
