2022 was quite a year for us! From beautiful weddings to large corporate events, we hosted many successful gatherings throughout the year and we are proud to look back on them with fond memories. Our event center provided the perfect setting for all of these occasions and we wanted to share a few that stood out. Join us as we look back on some of the most memorable events we held in 2022. Event #1-A Simple & Chic Wedding This past year we were thrilled to host a number of weddings at our event venue in Salem, Oregon. Each ceremony was unique and special in their own way, but what really made this one stand out was the pastel decor that filled the space for the reception. From delicate table settings to elegant flower arrangements (straight from the mother of the bride's garden), the room was perfectly staged for a romantic wedding and dinner service. The bride looked especially beautiful in her dress and was able to make good use of the adjoining hotel for some photos before she said, “I do.” We could feel the love in the air as the couple celebrated their marriage with close friends and family. Our staff worked hard to make sure that the reception ran smoothly, from setting up for the big day, to providing catering to making sure all of the guests had everything they needed, and tearing down and cleaning up after the final dance too! We are proud to have been able to provide a wonderful setting for this couple to begin their lives together, and we look forward to hosting many more weddings in our convention center in Salem in 2023. Event #2-YMCA Event At the Salem Convention Center, we are more than just a popular wedding venue - we can also host corporate events and work meetings. Organizations like the YMCA had a great time at their fundraising auction in our event center and our all inclusive service with event enhancements, tech add-ons, and catering options ensured that this would be a night to remember! We understand the importance of hosting meetings in an appropriate space that not only has a professional atmosphere but also offers comfortable amenities to your employees. Our convention center provides the perfect space to hold a business or corporate meeting in an area that is convenient and comfortable for all attendees.We provide audio and visual equipment, private meeting rooms, social reception areas, breakout rooms and a wide variety of food and beverage options. We have multiple event spaces to fit any occasion and staff size, and our onsite staff is available throughout your event to help make it a truly memorable experience. Event #3-A Wedding That's Full of Flair When it comes to planning a wedding, many couples dream of a dramatic and large event. At the Salem Convention Center, we provide couples with the perfect backdrop for their special day so they can make that dream a reality.Our event center and rooms available at the adjoining hotel provide plenty of space to accommodate large parties and families. The grand staircase is an especially popular feature of our venue as it provides great photo potential for the bride and groom, along with the wedding parties, and our upstairs foyer is a great space for vows or a cocktail hour. We also have a beautiful courtyard and a nearby riverside park for wedding photos.We offer all inclusive service for weddings-including set up, catering, decor, and tear down. We are well-equipped to handle any size group and can offer various wedding packages so you can feel prepared and taken care of on your big day. After such a great year, we can't wait to see what 2023 will hold.
